Possible mirror extension?
« on: July 16, 2014, 04:30:15 PM »
I was just wondering if anyone had scene some kind of mirror extension for scooter mirrors? Something along the lines of a bar that mounts to the bike then the mirrors mount to the bar so there's more length to the stem of the mirror. I would love to have a longer stem on my mirrors so I can see around my shoulders better. I would rather not have to buy new mirrors to do this.
I would think someone had to have come up with something like this. Any suggestions would be fantastic.

Thanks everyone and ride safe, mscmkr

Put in the web address tag (button with globe and piece of paper) {url=http://kymcoforumisawesome.com}This is what I want shown in the post{/url} and inbetween the two URL brackets you write the type you want displayed. Between the first URL and the bracket put and = sign then the web address you are linking to.

Hit the Quote button on my post and you'll see it.

Too much work for me. Most of my keys don't work, and the rest are just missing.

did I ever mention the time I pulled all the keys off my other keyboard... I had no idea where they went, and couldn't get on line to find an example. That sucked.

I know where the ON button is, and how to point and click with the mouse. Beyond that, I need written instructions (preferably with pictures!), or a smarter friend to tutor me.   8)

I have CNC mirror extenders on my Super8 150 and love them. They are 8mm threads and are a perfect fit. The  black finish has oxidized to a dark bronze, but still look good. Most importantly, they  increase the view to the back and sides.

Haven't decided if I'm gonna buy a new Vader for the scoot, or use one of the others that came in the set.

For just a straight post I have never seen anything like that. However I am sure you could use a pair of threaded "nut couplers" in 8mm. Cut the head off a couple 8mm bolts, and you have the bar end of it. The mirrors will of course just spin in.

Package the deal, and sell them on ebay...
