Most here tend to agree the more frequent the better. I aim for 600 miles or less. (about once a month to 6 weeks of Daily riding for me)
Synthetic oils do well up to 1000 miles but at 1/2 qt. per change. it is of little concern.

I've noticed that all Kymcos service manual and owners manual have vastly different maint. Charts. If you want your bike to last a lifetime, go 1000km but don't sweat it if you go over a bit.

How to properly check the oil level?
Check without  tighten Oil dipstick?  or tighten and unwind oil dipstick, and check?

Make sure it's on the center stand too, you have no idea how many people I've seen over fill checking on the side stand.
