hi,
i want to replace the dt300 stock horn with a pair of dual high-low horns. I am thinking of adding a relay to the dual horns to tap the power directly from the battery.

i can remove the front cover to access to the horn compartment. I can also remove the luggage  box to expose the battery. but here is the problem. how do you guys pull a wire from the battery to the front where the horn is? do i really have to remove more covers?

when I installed my horn, I just pluged the same wires in ,  try it both ways , pos, and neg, one way works better,.  for the HID head lights I ran wires from the battery, just wiggle the wires thru, from the seat  on the right side ,used a coat hanger to fish them thru,  put a fuse on the wire near the battery, pos. wire,  good idea pull wires thru 1/2 "  I D tubing for protection , vibration will eat thru wire cover in a year or two,.

thanks, de dee.

using a tube as a channel for the wires is a great idea!
