Where to find Parts
« on: July 26, 2014, 06:48:25 PM »
So I got a kymco from a guy and long story short. I have a pair of rocker arms and a camshaft that may or may not fit either the KN125 engine (agility 125) or a cheap chinese scooter engine. Is there anyway to tell what a kymco cam shaft and rocker arms look like?  If not im just gonna be safe and buy both. Anyone know where I can buy OEM agility 125 rocker arms and camshaft? I looked everywhere online to now luck.

Any gy6 rockers and cam will fit because that engine is gy6.

Ok here we are.

Here you can see the cam sits nicely in the rocker arms

Here you can see the intake valve is slightly longer than the exhaust valve

Here you can see it doesnt sit properly on the head

I cant tighten it down or else I will be compressing the bearings themselves on the came which I know isnt smart.

I don't know what to tell you, I've used gy6 stuff in there before. Are the rocker arms gy6 or kymco?

Thats the thing I got a kymco body and 2 half built engines. so I honestly dont know. Theres no markings that say kymco. To me they look like regular gy6 rocker arms. But i cant tell because I never seen a kymco engine opened up until now. Even if I wanted to buy new rocker arms and a cam shaft just to be safe I cant find anywhere online that sells them.

One of the engines was a GY6 150cc and the other was the kymco engine

Follow up:
I took off the valves and everything sat correctly which leads me to assume that the rocker arms are not big enough. And went I went to measure the valve length it came it at a whooping 81 mm. (this is from the kymco head) So I either need some small valves or some OEM rocker arms right?
