Looking for some help and advice please. I bought my son a second hand 2010 super 8 50 cc 2 stroke. It had been sat a while so new plug etc done and no real issues for a couple of months.
Problems have now started with continually blowing fuses. Manual said 1 10amp and 2 7 amp which are on the bike but when my son couldn't find any 7 he used 10 across the bike. Now the indicators don't work at all neither does the horn. When he switches from sidelights to headlights the bike cuts out.
The indicator relay only works when the sidelight is on. All very very strange. I've checked all connections as best as I can and can see no broken wires. Is it possible the cdi is damaged after the fuses broke and if so is there any way of testing the cdi before having to buy a new one?
