I did take the backroads. There would be no way to pull over if I took my normal roads. Wouldn't risk it.

Nice pictures of your morning commute. Here in Vegas it is too damn hot to take the bike to work. Mid September is when he weather starts cooling off. I know on Sunday 8-3-14 the temps will not even hit 90 due to the possibility of heavy rain from thunder storms. Monsoon season in Vegas is alive and well. I might just take the bike out Sunday for a ride. I love the rain we get here in the desert.
