Stig in Ohio on White Castle

I know you live in Ohio and are within driving distance of White Castle. I know this topic has nothing to do with scooters in general per se. There is a rumor on one of the Vegas foodie blogs about White Castle. The word is that they are planning on opening their first store west of the Missippi river. The location would be at the Casino Royale on the strip here in Vegas next to the Venetian hotel and casino. According to Vegas eater.com this is not a rumor. They are in fact opening a store. I asked them about this on their facebook page, but they are not replied. They have no comment at this time. They have been here for the last three times for the Las Vegas foodiefest and have seen how the community has come out to get their sliders. I sure hope this is true. It makes sense for them to have a store in Vegas. I know In and Out Burger makes a killing at their flagship store just west of the strip by I-15 and Tropicana Avenue. I so hope this is true. I grew up in NYC and I will take White Castle anytime over In N Out Burger. Only time will tell if this happens.

I live in Phoenix az and years ago White Castle used to bring out several 18 wheelers to fountain hills and sell sliders at a big thing they would have once a year. People would flock to them and buy them in out no time. Rumors were flying everywhere that they were doing this to see if they should bring White Castle to Arizona. Never happened.
    It was on the news that people wanted them to open stores here but nothing ever happened. That would be incredible if they did open a store in Vegas. That way they would establish themselves on this side of the country and maybe there next stop would be here in Arizona.

I live in Jersey and have the option of hitting a WC anytime I want, I haven't in decades, the term murder burgers comes to mind. They taste great but the after affects are a killer.

My 3 heart doctors have mined the White Castle parking lot.
However, people say you can rent this x-VC who Chu Hoi-ed to lead you through the mines for $2, or a carton of Salems.
I don't trust him.

It is now official. White Castle is in fact coming to Las Vegas this November. This news story confirms it. Vegas us the perfect city for them to open up. Truth is this will not be the first WC west of the Missisippi. We have them every where in the Twincities and most of them are in fact west of the Mississippi. Not to mention all of the Missouri stores are west of the Mississippi. Now if you want to say FAR west that would be correct.

Your right about that. The nearest White Castle to the west in Missouri. Vegas will be the first location west of the mid west. I know they will be at the annual Las Vegas Foodie Fest in October as well. Well at least they will opening up in time for the holiday season.

 Being from the land of In N Out, I will have to try the White Castle when it opens. If it was good enough for Harold and Kumar, it's good enough for me. I was surprised when I saw the first In N out in Las Vegas. I guess both are a natural progression into a different market.

Not being in Michigan anymore ... I MISS WHITE CASTLE !!! (especially their vanilla shakes ) ...not anywhere near Maine, so- have to substitute FRESH lobsters !

I look forward to them competing directly against the burger of the west which is In N Out Burger. I will admit their burgers are more healthy than White Castle. I admit In N Out does have great fries. In and Out is smart with how they place their stores. They do have two stores by the Las Vegas strip, but not directly on the strip. Their most busiest and profitable store is a mile west of the strip off of Tropicana Avenue and the I-15 freeway. Every month my fellow Nevada Scooter Brigade peeps go here and just hangout. When we go on a Friday night the place is always packed. Each company does have its own unique product. Their is more than enough room for both of them to be successful. In N Out is a California product and White Castle is a New York product. In my opinion White Castle will crush In N Out in the Vegas market since there will be true competition. May the best burger win. Go White Castle.
