My helmet is noisy

My new helmet is really good looking but man is it Noisy !

i got it for a great price on ebay - $114.00 Aud delivered

but the damn thing folds my ears and is super noisy , as in wind noise .

if your looking for a nice quite helmet id suggest keeping clear of the " RXT Sprint "

Mine is a freakin billboard in the wind! It's like having a parasail on your head. If I turn my head sideways the wind pushes my head back because the stupid helmet catches the wind so much. It's a Nolan N-104. Really nice helmet but damn!

Bluetooth baby! That's the way to do it. You can play your music and chat with other people your riding with.

The HCJ helmets like the CL-15 & Cl-16 are pretty quiet on my GV250.
Plus they allow you to wear glasses pretty easily.

I have looked into bluetooth devices for long trips on my motorcycle, but have talked to health professionals who question the often industry-funded research saying they are safe especially when used for long periods. I would be more worried about getting smashed and never hearing it coming before I'd  worry about radiation.

Just me, of course I worked at a nuke plant so.........

I have a HJC Scratch, and LOVE it.  It is pretty quiet, plus I like the fighter pilot style sun shade that comes down on the inside of it.  Apparently it doesn't take much to amuse me...lol.

My Arai is super quiet, but I have ear plugs on at the track or on the highway all the same.

I recently got an IS-17 which came with a pinlock insert fitted.
This helmet is significantly quieter than any I've had before.
Despite being sceptical about the pinlock I'm amazed at how well it works.
No longer do I have to pop the visor open during rain or fog or while waiting at junctions and traffic lights.

Just watched a vid on the IS-17...um, I may be upgrading from the scratch.  I guess my girlfriend is going to be waiting to get a new helmet...lol

O.K. so I know this is an older thread.... but.... in many states the use of ear buds or head phones is illeagal. single bluetooth is ok. this is so that you can hear the po po pulling you over.... if you wear hearing aids you must carry spare batteries...not many cops know that.... now the fun stuff!!! if you are DEAF all you need is two outside mirrors!if you wear cochlear implants you are still deaf.. so deaf rules apply. JUST A BIT OF KNOWLAGE FROM A DEAF RIDER WITH A CLASS A LICENSE WITH FULL ENDORSEMENTS (HAZMAT, TANKER, EXPLOSIVES)
