Retro fitting

I don't know how much space a 50cc scoot has in the eng area but am wondering if there is enough room to take  and drop in a 90-100 cc eng or larger?

Unclear what your objective is . . why would you NOT initially select at least a 125cc scooter?  NJ stipulations.

The objective doesn't really matter, but it would be to fool the popo into thinking you had a 50 when you didn't.

The question still stands, can a larger engine usually fit into a 50 cc scoot eng. area?
