CF has been done to death but in this case I really like the results. Very nice bike.

Asia. I went to see a friend in Beijing then another in Taiwan. I picked up most of the parts and brought them back with me. All had Kymco part numbers just not imported to the US.

Very nice! I would really like to do something like that with my Super 8. At first glance, the pattern looks very similar to some carbon fiber vinyl sticker sheets I purchased to add on to my race / track bike. Aside from putting the bike done a couple times, the sticker has held up quite nicely. I thought about doing the same to my S8 scoot. After seeing your bits, I am more in favor of buying the parts.

I'm pretty sure they are indeed "printed" parts but Mac will know... Either way they do add a great look to the bike when installed as a group.
In my minds eye it's the front fender that really makes all the rest work.

There is something else you can do... You can buy some CF sheet, and laminate all the parts yourself. It's a simple scuff up, and epoxy glue deal.
The trick to a flawless finish is using a spray bottle w/ acetone to mist the clear epoxy cover coat, and remove any air bubbles. The finish will come out like glass.
It's really about the same as doing the sticker deal but it does add the CF strength.

Yes they are printed. All you need to do is look at the back side and you can see where the printed "wrap" ends. That said they are very well done, Original kymco parts. I wasnt a big fan until I saw a DT300 in Taiwan with the parts. Looked pretty good.

As far as the super 8 it's the only kymco model that has the carbon look parts as part of the US accessory line.

Ah! I am curious with the wrapped exhaust of how well it will adhere and last, due to heat. Stickers and heat are a bad combo. I am very impressed with the bits with free formed shapes. Those are very hard get right. Again, the bits accent your ride very nicely :thumbsup

From the picts. the parts appear to be acrylic clear coated so the heat would not be an issue. De lamination can only happen if air can be introduced.

I thought the parts were ink jet printed. I didn't think they were wraps.
