windshield

Strange prpblem....I live on the west coast of British Columbia. A seagull shat on the windshield and the plastic covering, ie sunshade, has started to peel off.  How should I peel off the rest without damaging the windshield. Don't tell me to look for more seagulls to finish the job!

you kybosh-ed my idea...

Once that film starts to de-laminate I don't know of any way to deal w/ it. I've tried heat guns/acetone/benzine, and PolyGaurd removal gell. None of them worked.

My best advice is locate a new screen.

If you could bottle up some of that seagull $h!t, you could sell it as a premium paint stripper and make a fortune! Just carry a big open bucket with you on the scoot for collection purposes whenever you ride, since you have already been tagged by the seagulls as a target. :D
