After removing the rear mud guard, where did you mount the license plate and light?
I'm thinking of doing that to my Super8. Trying to get some ideas for doing it nice and clean looking.

Had it done at a shop

Turn signals:
They installed a sockets and bulbs soldered wires to turn signal wires.
Also, I think someone on this forum has posted instructions somewhere

License plate:
I have no light on the tag, and it's tucked under the lip (far too many traffic cameras in this area). They took the bracket out and bolt the plate as shown in the photos

have already stated. Go through and snug up nuts and bolts. This is something that should be done on any new motorcycle or scooter.
On the GT, there is a small shiny shield on the exaust pipe that tends to loosen because of expansion and contraction caused by heat.
Put some RED loctite on these screws or you stand a chance of loosing the shield.

Enjoy and ride safe.

Sure enough, heat shield started to rattle, I took your advice with loctite problem solved....

The new seat! Had the seat rebuild by John Longo motorcycle seat upholstery (www.johnlongo.net), great guy does great work. He used new stiffer foam to shape the seat geometer for my height and made new cover with new material. Bike feels like a whole new scooter, money well spent!

If I understand your mods correctly. Your scooter is now illegal to ride in KS and I suspect most everywhere in the USA. They pull over people for plate lights here.

Luckily I don't live in KS! No issues with the police in this area so far...
