Mirrors
« on: September 16, 2014, 07:18:31 PM »
I have a 2009 kymco GrandVista 250cc. Bot mirrors have a line running from top to bottom marking off a bout a third of the mirror. This is not a crack and does not appear to affect the view in the mirror. Any ideas?

I have wondered myself what these lines are. Hope someone on here knows.

They are composite mirrors that join together at that line.
The purpose is to provide wider total view becasue the outer piece is at a wider angle than the inner piece of the mirror.

scoot safely.

+1 also the inner section i think it magnified a little more too. They would be great mirrors if they didn't put that stupid blue tint on!!!!

I have a 2005 kymco GV250 but I never noticed the vertical line until now.  Thanks for the education.
