I actually called that guy once to try to negotiate a (phony) deal just to see what his price was. He is at $3300 for new, plus $300 prep as far as I could tell, would not budge from there. Which is kind of funny because just a couple years ago he was trying to sell old four year old leftover Kymco Xciting 250's at list price.
One guy called me and tried to offer me $1700 for it and quoted Heinen's and I told him, "Well, yeah thats a good deal, but if you think a used one with less than 2000 miles on it is only worth $1700, than I guess you'd be buying something for $3600 that is worth only $1700 when you walk out the door with it."
I tried to price it fair, but I don't mind having it around or need to sell it that bad because it serves as a bike for my 2 friends can go for a day long ride with me who have a license and no bike. I will see if anyone offers something that entices me, or it stays. The only reason I really would part with it is garage space. If somebody does not mind a few miles to save off the new price, cool, if not cool too. My wife wants it gone more than I do.
I'd like to talk a friend into the Scooter Cannonball 2016.
