Aftermarket Exhaust for Agility 50 CC
« on: October 14, 2009, 04:44:48 PM »
After reading a few threads about performance exhaust on 4 stroke 50cc engine, seems that it is not really the best option in modifying your scooter.  I learned that performance exhaust is more effective in 2 stroke engines.

Well, a couple of months ago I bought a used 2009 Agility 50 from an auction. The scooter was in nearly perfect condition...except it was missing the plastic muffler protector.

The dealer wants to charge $42+Tax/S&H for this part. And If I was to buy the whole OEM exhaust, it was going to cost $80+Tax/S&H.

I think either options is kind of expensive plus I don't really fancy the OEM exhaust (looks too plain).

I tried looking for the part on ebay hoping I can find a good deal on either a new or used...but no luck.

So I was wondering what my options are on exhaust systems for under $150. I should mention that I'm will be replacing the stock main jet and put a #85.

So my set up will be: (de-restricted CDI, de-restricted boss face, 5.5 gram roller weights, #85 main jet, EXHAUST???____

I can get you a Leo Vince aftermarket exhaust horizontal for the Agility 50 for $138 retail + shipping. Leo Vince is a really good product it's handmade exhaust system and I've had really good success with them. 530-365-3886 Mike

I see... I was hoping for the 138.00 version. The cheapest I have found is http://enviromoto.ecrater.com/p/8025586/leovince-handmade-titan-exhaust-kymco

That enviromoto site seems pretty competitive as far as pricing goes.

I'm in between getting this: http://www.enviromoto.ecrater.com/p/3956702/stage-4-72cc-power-pack-139qmb-a

and this: http://www.enviromoto.ecrater.com/p/3955867/stage-3-power-pack-72cc-big

If I go with the Stage 3, and a K&N air filter, I've already order the polini variator kit, and it comes with rollers, so idk if it's worth the extra 49 bucks for an airfilter, and a new jet and spark plug. What do you guys think?

..if you install an aftermarket exhaust, you MUST open up the air intake...(free-flow air filter)...

..and your main jet size will approach 96-100...

I don't have an agility but here's an s200 i'm playing with, the cap is removed and a few holes. Pay attention to your jetting if you do this.
This improved my overall flow made it sound a little meaner and gave me some pickup all the way through. Cost nothing!!!  :D  Well almost I did upjet and run some larger rollers plus removed my air box cover, worth every bit of it.
Don't go crazy try 3 to start,I like using 1/4 holes that can be plugged easily with some self tapping screws if ya go overboard.
I could probably go with a few more but the jetting is about right as is so left it alone till i get the belt i want to run.

Thanks man! that's awesome. ;D I think I'll try that before spending too much on exhaust. Especially for a 4T
