Hello mamo, yes they they are very good!!
To answer your questions,

1. The cage was causing scratching to the mudguard.
2. You can change the light mode by the toggle switch, switch on=very bright, switch on off on = bright, switch on off on off on for strobe mode.
3. Yes the + connects to the battery directly.

hello mamo, when the dt was on centre stand it was ok, once off stand and travelling that's when the scratches appeared, everything is ok now with the lower part of the cage removed.
