Aside from the hot, dry, summers, we can ride here all year long in Las Vegas. The best months tend to be from October to April when the weather is nice. For some reason, when it gets cooler here, I hear complain how cold it is. I remind them that since they are in their cars they do not know what cold and hot weather really is. I have rode my Kymco Agility 125 in December to work when the over night low as 26 degrees and it feels like 6 degrees on the bike. I have also rode when the temperature was 115 degrees out on my way to my class at six in the evening the summer time. At that time, my bike was my only means of transport until I got a car last year.  I enjoy riding no matter what the weather is like. The weekend forecast here in Vegas calls for day time highs in the low to mid sixties which is normal for us for mid November. If we want to see snow, we head up to Mount Charleston which is 45 minutes from Las Vegas.

We just got about 8 inches of snow in the last two days here in the Boise area. The scoots are now in the nice, warm garage with StaBil and a battery tender to keep them company. At least until we get the snow off the roads. Supposed to get down to a high temp of 12 F by Monday. Back to driving the cage for a while, dang it!

I know how you feel! We're getting the same weather here in Denver. Good luck!

Cranking volts?

Maybe the bike needs a tune up. I started my two bikes after 3 and 7 days sitting outside in the cold last night. They both started on the first shot. One bike is carburated the other fuel injection. Turn the key on open and close the throttle then hit the starter button. Give it a few minutes to warm up and go. Good luck.

3 to 4 inches of snow this morning, the first of the season.

I've taken a million pictures of the country with coat of snow but I still take pictures--it is so beautiful.

Riding is finished for now but once in a while we'll have a 70 degree day in Jan or Feb (Weird??) and the bikes are everywhere!

We had it around 28 here in NJ with a wind that would make a witches tit feel at home. I was ready to make the move to Fl. yet again.
