Soooo I was at my local bike shop to pick up some oil and decided to go with a Honda Pro Synthetic oil but didn't realize till after I had drained my oil that it was 10w30 instead of the factory recommended 10w40.
On my way to work this morning, I couldn't help but notice how "peppy" my S8 felt this morning, easily getting up to 55-58 mph NOT WOT more like 3/4 or 6/8ths of throttle.
SO My question is. Is this safe?

the differance in oil is for the temp. where you live,.warm temp. you are good ,. cold temp. time for a change to the right oil,. freezing here, so I use 5 W 50, good for all temp.

10w30 will be better for cold temp 10w40 will be better for warm temp. I would not use 10w30 in the summer, might thin out too much and not provide proper lubrication. As long as you have the right amount of oil in the scoot, and are not trying to go 80mph downhill, then engine won't be damaged.

Lol thank you brother. Looks like I'm good then. Now tomorrow I'll change the gear oil and pray it doesn't keep leaking out the air box 😳
