Snowed on my HJC today.
« on: November 14, 2014, 12:39:31 AM »
But it was so cold it was a dry snow. Just slid off the car hoods and scooter riding helmets. So, I took the long way home on my LIKE.
"0 % change of precip" in the forecast today.
Idiots are going to get a scooter rider into trouble one of these days.

24 F. for the pre-dawn commute tomorrow.

Heated grips are attractively priced - but looks like heated gloves might be the way I go.
Just want to be careful not to screw up my scooter's electrics.

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

Stig, you should go the route of LiIon powered gloves. No wiring or hacking required of the scooter, and on the medium setting they last up to 48hr, at least the nice ones. You don't have to worry about snagging wires hanging down by your legs, and if you want to get off your scoot just for a minute you can keep the gloves toasty on your hands and not have to unplug any wires. The ones our rep showed us were really slim, not a huge battery pack at all. Just my $.02 on the whole thing!
