Welcome Doc!
Nice scooter.
Red all sold out? (just kidding - I give everyone the beans if they didn't buy a red scoot)
We have snow, but you don't have any water.
Not sure which is worse.
Ride safe - and keep us posted with comments and pix of your scooter.
Best regards, Stig

Welcome to a neat forum from SW Missouri, by way of Southern, CA.

I've been to Lost Wages sooooo many times, for pleasure and business.

I've also toured all around there on bikes, like to area 51, Death Valley, Hoover Dam, lake Mead, etc and love the area since I love the desert.

In case you missed it, in the "unwritten" rule book it states that any new members must supply free rides to any/all existing members where they are in town.

So welcome, I'm flying out next week! JJ

I live in Vegas. What side of town are you in. I am down by Tropicana and Pecos on the east side of town. Did you buy your scooter from Bob and Chris at Vegas Motor Sports? If you did they do take care of you.  Are you looking to go on any rides? Let me know. My local scooter club, the Nevada Scooter Brigade is meeting this Saturday.  I would suggest you check out our meetup and facebook pages. I have a 2012 Kymco Agility 125cc scooter. Its good to have another Kymco owner from who lives in Vegas. In a little over three months we have the annual HighRollers Vegas Scooter Rally over at the Downtown Grand Hotel and Casino in Downtown Vegas.

Welcome, Doc Vegas! I have family in Vegas. I don't go there often enough, though. Any how, what a perfect area to ride a scooter.

Well Kymco Peeps:

A few of us Kymco members finally met. I am part of the Nevada Scooter Brigade and we have monthly events we host. On this post thanksgiving weekend, we hosted our monthly In N Out Burger event. I personally prefer White Castle myself. Doc Wheezer and I finally met. It was a good time by all as there was at least five of us who attended. It is always good to see the face behind the screen name. Maybe one of these days we will meet more of each other and share stories of where our travels have taken us. Ride on scooter peeps. 8)

Hello Dave,
It was very nice meeting everyone.  Yes, I wimped out and drove a car with heat.
I still can't believe that Chris drove from N. Las Vegas wearing "SHORTS"!!!!
I put my 500Ri in storage till spring, (swapping it's space for Christmas boxes) when I will re-post it for sale.  It has less than 7300 miles and I really don't want to put any more miles on it.

Hello,
You are right, I missed that rule.  ::)
The weather has been windy but warm during the daylight hours, chilly at night.
Enjoy your stay here.

Doc.

Thank You Stig, and Hello from the Land of Pawn Stars, Show Girls and of the Ex Mob Lawyer who became Mayor.
When you buy used and the pickings are slim, try finding a 500Ri.  I had to go to Arizona for my Kymco 500Ri
Overall mechanical condition, age and mileage all come before color. (Yes, I understand you were just busting my Holiday Walnuts)  Come on, I ride a scooter, I don't need it to be red too.  Then again, I think I turned in my man card a few years ago then I owned a yellow and black convertible SMART car for a few months.
No water is worse, although I can't convince my wife, we still have grass front and back of the house.

Have a Merry Christmas and Safe New Year

Hi Dave,
I live out by Summerlin and the Red Rock Area.
I bought my 500Ri from a private owner in Arizona and trailered it back to Vegas.  I never like to run a used vehicle I buy any distance without changing all fluids and filters.
I have met Bob from Las Vegas Motorsports, back in 2011 when I had my V-Star.  He showed me a Kymco 500Ri back then and sung it's praises.  He was the one who told me, they weren't planning on carrying a MY ROAD 700 because they cost too much.
MAXI-Scooters are pretty much a rare sight here in town.

Have a Happy Hanukkah and safe New Year
