@Porkie, your opinion holds a god deal of logic and as a whole I don't disagree with you. I ride in all temps, I dress right and my ride to/from work is all of 10-15 minutes so getting frost bite isn't much an issue for me.
I do however have a slight problem with your delivery, I'm sure you could have dressed up your words to make them more palatable, just as I have done in my reply to you. In the interest of keeping this a friendly forum why not retract a phrase or 2 and everyone will know you’re not a raving lunatic.
Riding in the snow on a 2 wheeled scoot is dangerous to yourself and those around you, I don't ride when there is the chance to slip and fall, I stop riding in the winter once we get accumulating snow cause the plows will push it to one side of the road and it melts in the noon day sun and turns to ice after sunset and causes a whole new problem.
Have I taken my scoot out in some snow when no other drivers were on the road, hell yeah, it was fun doing 360's in front of my house. I certainly don't want to be the guy sliding under some truck or other driver causing them nightmares and regret the rest of their lives.
Be polite, and others will be. Have a nice day.
