At first I thought it had the SYM 171 liquid cooled kicker. If it did it would be a beast but......
It appears to be air called and that changes things. They went half way. Added FI but no liquid cooling.

Aircooled might be old engineering - and probably leaves a few HP on the table compared to liquid cooled engines of the same cc's - but as an old VW enthusiast - I absolutely prefer the simplicity of upkeep and reliability of a well made aircooled engine -
so many fewer things to screw up or leak or parts to buy! The savings in parts helps keep the price down for the dealer - but he need make no apologies for the A/C engine to me! It was a + selling point to me for the LIKE200i.
I think this might send Kymco back to the table to re-vamp the LIKE - but in living with my LIKE I've come to really appreciate the handsome lines drawn by that Italian house.
SYM makes a very fine product and this is a nice looking scooter - but parts and dealers remains a sticking point for many in certain areas of the USA.
I love my LIKE - but I whish it were made in Taiwan (probably just a mental failing in me, still...)
Wonder if this new SYM continues the pattern of being made in Taiwan?
Shoot - who knows?....my Forza is made in Thailand - not even Taiwan -
Thailand !!- for an old V. vet that's taken some getting used to, for reasons I can't articulate.
But, as one poster here stated
....the guy who designed the LIKE's seat should be set on fire! Thanks for the info on the new SYM , you guys.
