Couldn´t resist. I took her(?) out of the "winter stable" today for a short 1 and a half hour "ride" in the sun and 15°C/59°F. Approx. 50km
I guess we both liked it.
Of course fired up instantly on the touch of the button and ran like a charm as ever.
Merry Christmas and a happy new Year to all!
Hey Robo ~! Merry Christmas and thanks for the great picture of your pretty scooter, and Italy!
This is a real treat for a fellow in Ohio to see .
I note again that your chrome bar on the front fender and around the side skirts both attach to your scooter in a different manner than the bars sold to American owners of the LIKE200i. I like the look of your seat and the OEM mirrors better than mine - but they just did not work for me. Is that chrome tape on your headlight, or?
And, yes these scooters do start so very quickly don't they!? The Kenda tires working OK for you?
And, do you do your own oil changes and valves, brake fluid renewal, etc?
FYI: whether it needed it or not is open to debate - but here is what I have relpaced on my LIKE
OEM KYMCO parts: Belt, injector, coil & wire.
Brake fluid renewed.
NGK Iridium plug.
Dr Pulley sliders.
Michelin City Grips
Mirrors
Seat
Bestem Top Case w/lights
Crash bars all around
Valve adjustments & oils (frequently)
Battery tender lead
Tachometer
Larger Yuasa battery
(I highly recommend using KYMCO stock parts for their good quality, and Yuasa batteries)
With the new throttle body assembly - the scoot is running very strongly - and is my daily commute to work vehicle in rain and cold weather for 2 winters now. It has never failed to get me home, ever.
Best regards and please keep the picture of your scooter coming!
Merry Christmas, Stig
When it was very new - putting on the crash bars in the my back yard. With the new mirrors and City Grips The day I forgot to set the parking brake.....
And of course the day I installed the Chinese floor heater....(not too effective - but only $11 + postage)
