How often do you drop your helmet? I'm going to need a new one without ever getting into an accident due to constantly dropping mine. Right off the seat while gearing up and warming the scoot, usually when there are enough people around to think i'm a sap.
I actually pumped about 4oz of 93 octane all over it the other night when it fell, trying to catch it.

I'm anal about the things I own. Either they have no meaning or I protect them.
My helmets are for target practice (pellet gun) but my TV screen... God forbid a fly lands on it.

It's even worse if someone suggests I chain up my dogs...

If i was particular about my helmet i would've had a fit by now. Dropped it earlier and took out another large section of clearcoat and some paint. It is beginning to look like a crash test dummy helmet

A helmet is like a leather jacket. All new, and shiny is for wannabee's.
It's the scrapes, and scars that tell a story you could spend days explaining. I can remember every scuff, and tell you when, and where it came from.

I still have no clue where my kitchen is tho... "nuther story...

Yikes......
If I drop a hat from seat level to the hard I scrap it and not because of aesthetics.

Will the Dring on your helmet chin strap fit over a brake lever to hang it? If not rig a hook somewhere to hang it for a temporary place.

I'm sure that there's some rule of what kind of impact renders it unsuitable for use.  Probably exceeded by now,  especially since it has taken yet another fall since I posted last😡
I look daily at new ones with intent to buy...eventually. 

And yes,  rigging up a helmet holder is long overdue.  Might steal the one from my Taotao.

The one where the flash is just happened.  Fell off because I sat it on a glove,  unsuiting to go in the head shop for more kratom.

Why not place it on top of the side mirror?  Works for me..

Yeah, that's what they recommend.  Supposedly the foam's done it's job at that point and the helmet is ruined.  Or so the helmet manufacturers and certifiers say.

Zombie, you really should keep those beasts on a leash - you're scaring the neighbors.  ;D

The handlebar lock is nonfunctional. it has seen pavement before from hanging it, bumping the scoot, then the bars swinging and losing the helmet!

Hmm.  That could be a keeper. 
Right now I'm looking to use the hook off of my Taotao since I just stripped it of 90% of its plastic,  and hacked up the rest  (thanks zombie,  got me on a customizing my crappy scooter kick,  aka-make it look more ghetto). 
Just gotta find the screw in all my junk that'll take to the threaded hole I want to use.

If you haven't yet, take a look at The Helmet Hook I posted about earlier.
Is there anything that can be fabricated DIY style, that's cheaper than 14.00, just as practical, nice looking and easy to use? Maybe.
