What the snittzel was the question again?
"Helmet Dropping"
Don't do it.
I doubt if it is a habit of careful riders.

I've never taken care of a helmet.Throw it on the ground, trunk of the car, carry cool fish home in them... I never really thought about it.

You must have been carrying shark and none of that other stinky fish stuff   :)

Well, other than the fact that it really pisses me off when I hear that thud, crunch or whatever other unpleasant sound it makes, it's not good for the helmet and you're really supposed to discard it after a fall on hard surface.

Of course, none of us do but it CAN affect the integrity of the helmet. Plus purdy helmets should be kept free from scratches   :)

I usually bought mine at goodwll or yard sales.

It was the legal aspect, and I really didn't care to care.

I never have to worry about it.
Best part is driving in traffic or some place new. I never get distracted by squirrels.

On second thought... That is about the MOST retarded thing I can imagine (ATM). WHO in their right mind wears that to bed?
