Replacing the whole seat or seat material?

Hey y'all,

Happy new year! Your friendly Spiderman is back.

Kymco  2006 Agility 125:
To all the Experts, I need to decide whether it is easier to replace the whole seat by buying a used or new one or take to a auto trimmer and replace the seat cover?
I would do it myself but as you can see I have no experience. I've looked on youtube and seems a little hard to do it. Anyone here replaced the seat cover before?
I looked on ebay for seat covers and it cost around $100 for the seat cover. Doing a seat cover is easy, just use a staple gun to attach martial inside the seat. The aftermarket covers never fit good imho. I tend to lean towards a new seat. All the agility 125 seat are the same. A '10 will fit yours.

if you are adding height to the seat , it is not to hard, if you have to cut down take it to a professional,.  I added 4 " to my seat and cut out the round bump that fits over your helmet when in the metin box, and I used rebond foam, 10 lb. per cubik foot,. and I moved the butt   stop back about 5 "now I can ride for a couple of hundred miles and take a walk when I fill up with gas. then do it again,  81 years old , cant hardly walk but I can ride all day,.

Hey bet, I emailed the ebay seller about the seat (2010 Agility 125 model) but he/she said it doesn't fit on a 2006 model? Is this correct?

I checked the cover on ebay and they said the same it won't fit on my one. So I guess a brand new it is then.

I haven't noticed a difference before. Does the seller allow returns? I'd be really surprised if it didn't fit.

Both seats look identical
Then I went to Kymco Parts Monster to look for different part numbers... There is only one seat listed.

Unless Ebay is selling the wrong cover to begin with there shouldn't be an issue.

Very easy DIY job.  My local fabric shop sells faux leather vinyl for about $10.  Watch a few Youtube vids on replacing motorcycle seat covers.  Remove a staple and take it to a hardware store for a match in length.  Use a screwdriver or pliers to remove the staples (wear goggles).  Pull the new fabric tightly around all corners & bends or you'll end up with slight buckling.  You should be done in an hour.  Post pics when you're done!

Company called Cheeky Seat Covers will make a cover for you. You can even give them a Spiderman design .

Wow!~ They have great prices for custom covers. I'm impressed.

If you take that route use ONLY Monel Staples. Arrow makes them for all standard size guns. They are an inexpensive version of Stainless Steel, and will not rust or rot out.

I checked it out. Looks awesome and I would get the spiderman design but there are not many for the Agility 125.

Would I need a new foam? Im not sure if the foam in the picture is suppose to look like that or does it not matter?

Im just waiting on ebay seller to message me for returns on brand seat.
