Commuting thru the winter of 14/15
« on: January 23, 2015, 02:26:14 AM »
2012 LIKE200i, purchased spring 2013:
So far, so good....only been on the city bus 4 or 6  times this winter!
Pack lunch, library book, extra clothing, couple pairs of gloves under the seat...and big tip-proof coffee mug in the Bestem top case tied up in two plastic bags in case the lid blows off  due the temperature (tends to on very cold mornings)
This EFI rascal fires and idles perfectly on the coldest of before-sunrise commutes after sitting in a cold garage.
Always a bit amazed that a scooter made for warm climes can tollerate the cold so well. City Grips are acting good in the cold, too.
Really like that lighted case for both the pitch dark morning commute through town, as well as cloudy, darkening afternoon commute home. The case seems to be very visible - even from the sides - with those built in LEDs.
If I sell this scoot next spring - somebody is going to get an heck of a urban scooter for a song. Most likely they won't appreciate what they are getting.

And, I'm feeling a little peculiar.

Stig, I can't imagine you without your Like. If you do sell, make sure to point potential buyers to your forum posts. They'll get an understanding of what's it like to own a Like.
