It beats the hell out of the RV idea. At least in my book.
My retirement plan is to sell the Homestead, buy a Class C Motorhome and enclosed trailer .
Kayaks on top of trailer that contains two Scooters ,a German Shepherd (or two) and little else.
Travel the Country, stay at Campgrounds and pay for site by working it off ( AND earn some play money) . My husband can do Carpentry/maintenance,Handyman,etc.work. I could teach First Aid/CPR, work with kids staying there ( Recreational Therapy),etc.
Go South in Winter...North in warmer weather.
And Ride,ride,ride in many differing areas !
