90cc Kymco Super 8 4T
« on: February 25, 2015, 09:58:30 PM »
Hallo,

Hello,

I just finished a NCY 90cc cylinder head, camshaft and valvelifter mounted. I also have the Overdrive2 vario with 8.5gr roles and NCY coupling with springs. Leovinci exhaust and nozzle size 88. Fast CDI and cable cut.
Top he now runs true 65 kilometers tand pulls well on. Previously I had stabbing Revolution 80cc with standard head and everything the same. Runs now without shim too.
Still, I actually expected something more from this setup as Now.
Anyone have advice what I can do?
I know that the Super 8 has a bad ratio, but I think still a normal 70 to 75km / h would be Possible With this setup. What can I do with it so still?

Yeah something is not right, you should be getting 40+ MPH stock derestricted. I have not had a chance to mess with the Super 8 4t, but it's just a GY6 variant. Not too sure what could be going on, jetting maybe? 40mph for a 90cc is very slow.

im having 65km/h on polini variator and cdi no rev limit trick
btw you dont have any restriction on boss ride
you have to find the best ratio between fuel running on rich and lean
you have to upgrade the jet a few times the "perfect" one which will make you scooter work better with 90cc and upgrade exhaust

Today, after 50km with new cilinder. I hit 73km/u.
I wil try a bigger nozzle size 92 and try 9gr rollers.

But it's a big differance between the 80cc and the 90cc with cylinder head. Pulls much better.
