Help. Kymco Agility 50 not starting...
« on: April 01, 2015, 04:27:23 PM »
As the title says bike wouldn't start. Left lying around for 3 months now. Thought I'd give it another try but nothing. Changed plug and that's all I have done just wouldn't start and knackered old battery so had to buy a new one but still nothing:(

What else can I do? Help appreciated. Thanks.

Should also add CDI has been cut. Stopped starting about 2 months after cut. Working fine 3 years previous.

At least take the initiative to research previous discussion on this topic, and review YouTube GY6 videos!  No mention of actually verifying spark and fuel flow, cleaning carb, or checking valve clearance?

Thanks for the replies guys. Not sure where to starts with cleaning the carb as i know f all about engines and can't seem to catch on what they are doing on YouTube they all seem to be doing different things to me.

Is carb cleaning quite easy?

Speculating additional responses would be pretty much an exercise in futility!  Just accept that you lack the required troubleshooting aptitude and seek professional assistance . . or perhaps the guidance of a mechanically inclined family member, relative, or friend.
