the autochoke can be checked easily...start the engine and listen...it runs a little high when you first start it........ then the idle will slows down

What size mainjet is stock. 2002 or 2003 (not really sure) im gonna try to go up one size and see if it runs better. I mesn it runs like a champ when autochoke is open.

I want to say 85. I was running a 90 or 92 in mine before putting a kit and pipe on mine.
I may be wrong.  My original jet had the size etched into it.

I think stock jet is 82 or 85, I took out and put in People 50  that had maybe 72 main jet.  1st tried 95 main jet in Super 9, then when weather got hotter changed down to 92, all with stock airbox, but have Tecnigas pipe.  Main jet that comes with it is too lean IMO.  Mine was bogging mid range, which went away with 95 main jet.  Ran very well with larger main jet, but CVT a little out of adjustment, would not shift down if got slowed down going up hill, but from start worked well.

With OEM muffler, 82 or 85 probably about right IOM, based upon how my People 50 2T runs.  My 1st go to mod is Tecnigas pipe, really perks up the little guy, but becomes a tuning challenge.

Have Uni air pod, 105 main, 42 idle jet in it now with Tecnigas pipe.  Loud, but runs like a champ, pulls up hills, into wind, good top speed, goes approx 1/2" past last line on speedo from time to time.  I am running with traffic easily on 40 and 45 mph roads, and I know cagers are going faster than 40 and 45.  Get noticed a lot, kids love it, get lots of waves, smiles.  Cheers
1st and 2nd usually have an unfair advantage.  3rd is usually the best, can learn the most from.  paraphrased from Don Quixote, over 400 years ago, still true today

Nice!  I'm not sure if I'm a fan of the blue wheels with black body though.  I'd imagine blackon black looking meaner.

Any new luck?

Yeah,  the rims would be a pain.  Doesn't look bad though.  I now see the handlebars.  Still decent looking.
