I just threw in a #90 jet to my setup and I like the performance so far. Scooter seems to have a bit more pull and no bogging. Ill keep it in and check the plug for fouling in a weeks time.

Nice, let me know what you find!   I haven't updated anyone in a while, but I finally got the 6 gram Dr. Pulley sliders in and it's perfectly balanced.  I had the 5 gram sliders, but it was too light.

Looks like its working well.

Thanks Chris.  I should be satisfied for a while before I get the itch to do anything else.  The only think I can think of is a BBK w/ a bigger carb down the line, but I'm happy the way it is.

I dont know if I would want to run 50 MPH on the flats, I'd like the power for the hills but when I am at 44-45 MPH down some straight hills, I feel the bike frame and suspension near its limit of safety.

I do run my tires 35 PSI rear and 30 PSI front (a little over inflated).

I don't know much since I've only owned one of these for 2 weeks but isn't the frame & suspension the same as the Super 8 150? That does 50+ out of the box doesn't it?

The 50cc has one shock and the higher cc's have 2 shocks. 2 shocks vs 1 shock can make a difference hitting dippy surfaces, a piece of debris or pot hole at 50 mph. I notice at about 42 MPH oscillations and vibrations start to set in. I can almost know when Im doing 40 MPH without looking at the speedometer.

Probably all fine if road surfaces are perfectly smooth and flat.

I know the feeling. I'm used to it now and dont really mind it. I'm doing 40 to 45 and hitting the limit on the speedo (50) down some hills. At first it really scared me but the more I ride it the more comfortable I've become. The only time its given me pause is down hill with the speedo maxed and the engine sounding like it's doing 10k rpm. That's when I slow down...

I saw a beauty just the other day. Super 8 150cc X edition.

Maybe it's the Super 9's that are dual shock.

The old super 8 150 have dual socks. The new Super 8 is closer to an agility.
