Here's my recent.  What mods did you have again,  if I may ask? I can't recall what you've previously mentioned.

Wow!  The kit will give you a better takeoff and torque,  maybe a few more mph. I need a new pipe...  Seeing how well the triops works for you,  might be my next move.

Congrats on the upgrades. Which scooter assassins variator and clutch springs did you use? After reading your post. i nearly bought an Assassins variator but instead opted for the DLH/Koso kit with boss rollersand blue springs (I currently have yellow springs installed). I really hope to see the type of speed your reaching! Is your S9 LC or AC? Thanks.

PS:  Please post vids and pics.

Was the variator you got about $40? The inner core looks like brass?

This might explain his setup.  And might be a good read, as well.

No it wasnt brass. I got a good deal on it at only $23. For that money, I couldnt afford not to buy it lol. It has yet to arrive from China so I cannot report on it as of this time.  Im considering a lightened clutch bell but have concerns as the decrease in rotational mass could be counter productive by allowing the revs to drop off more quickly??

I was asking because I got one from EBay that completely wore out in a very short amount of time from spinning too high of rpms.  I think it was branded DHL.   Cheap.  I now understand that you get what you pay for.  At least usually...
Maybe I just had bad luck on that one.  All my other cheap stuff is holding up nicely lol

Hmm,  good question.

SCIENCE!

Would the revs not be affected due to the clutch being engaged until it drops below a certain rpm? The wheel's mass still would be the same,  turning the gears that turn with the bell.
