Is there cruise control or throttle lock a simple way to stay at WOT for 50 cc
I used a hose clamp it worked pretty good >I was just wondering if there was a left handed throttle grip and could  I  hook them togeather and twist both at once.

I like that.

Any safety issues anyone can think of ?

Lunging into traffic accidentally when meant to be stopped would be my main concern or an accident and the throttle still pumping.

It's like that with any device. I like this cause it is out of the way and you can just hand twist the throttle back without having to unhook or move any levers.

Would these work. Just clamp it down real tight and zoom off.

I used that method on the Harley for 25 years, works great.

Saftey issues someone asked ? Well you're wedging a rubber o-ring between the throttle and the barend lots of bad doo doo can happen. The worst is the gas stays open and you crash going real fast. ;)

For me still worth the risk.

I have to ask, what's so hard about keeping your hand in the full twist position?

No problem unless I'm going long distance. Then the full tension of holding the spring starts to get to my muscles. Much like it's no problem holding a full can of soda straight out from your body but try doing for an hour solid. Muscles start to get fatigued.
