It's $3199 plus tax but still a great deal. That's $2200 off MSRP. With shipping and the whole thing I'm looking at about $4000 OTD. It's at Heinen motorsports in Minnesota. They have several available. I called them today and they said they bought the back stock that Kymco had left. Just having problems actually doing it. Flashbacks are interesting I have to say.

Not yet. My brain keeps getting in the way. Last Friday I actually got in my car and started towards the credit union to get everything set to buy it and ended up at Chipotle instead. I think if I do it's going to be more of a just for fun bike instead of 4 days a week transport like my last one. I was on my GT every minute I could before. Of course I keep hearing horror stories from everyone I meet about there accidents so it makes me even more gun shy. Oh well, I will keep everyone posted.

Hello mscmkr
I am not suggesting you buy it and I am not suggesting you don't buy it but if enjoy riding you can use  the GT300i for fun. I do and my work is 5 blocks away. There is no doubt about it this is a dangerous sport but if you are careful and mindful of others you can start again. As Valentino Rossi says, step by step. Also other people who crash do so due for specific situations which are different than yours. Some may have a bad marriage but some may have a great one and each will have a different perspective. Just a thought....

I have to thank everyone for all the input and positive vibes. I'm going to buy the bike and I have decided on black. Funny, I was definitely set on buying the gold again, then I saw a few pics of the black and thought about all the things that would match and look great on black and that was it. I should have it ordered by the weekend. My B-day is the end of the month and I hope I will have it by then. Maybe I can finally take it up north and do some ridding up the there?

Thanks again and ride safe everyone, mscmkr

Well, we cannot do anything about your brain.
We do understand your concerns about safety.
I was rear ended at a traffic light last summer. There was nothing I could have done to prevent it from happening.
Riding my GT is my favorite pass time.
I try to do things that put the odds in my favor like: ride the back roads where traffic is light, wear bright clothing, ride when i'm rested, alert, and feel good, keep my scoot in good repair, etc.
Most things now days are a gamble.
Guess I would be safest sitting in my easy chair all the time.
Personally, I choose to take my chances and enjoy life. So I ride.
Not trying to sway you either way.
It is your life and body.
Good luck in which path you take and god bless.
