2015 Uxv 450i Question
« on: May 11, 2015, 11:33:16 PM »
I recently ordered the UXV 450i.   Who on here owns this machine and what are your thoughts of it?  It's hard to find very many reviews on it....

i have a 2014 uxv 700i. Love it, use it for work and play. Only complaint I have is there are no aftermarket parts. I can never leave stuff alone. I was looking for more power and top speed but unfortunately there are no computer programmers for these. But I'll be patient I'm sure they will eventually make stuff. But other than that it has taking a good beating so far and nothing has broke.

Haven't had much chance to take the 450 out yet, but it shifts nice, is a little more compact than the 700/500 and seems like a nice vehicle.

Got my 2015 uxv 450i and am having a blast with it.  More power than I expected.  Operating the gear selecter lever is a little difficult though.  I usually have to blip the throttle just a little to get it into reverse or drive.  Does anyone else have this?   I've only got 30 Miles on it so far and maybe it will get easier to shift as it breaks in??

I have the same issue with my 700 but it's not bad. It does the same thing on our 4 wheelers I don't think it's a big deal.

X2 on having to blip the throttle at times to get it in park from drive. I had to do it on my 500 and 700. On one of my previous posts I mentioned I loved my 500 except on long steep roads in the mountains. Most other times, even the rocks of Moab, the machine worked great. I even surprised a few skeptical friends who have Rhino 700s. I could also outrun them since the 500 maxed out at a higher speed.
