Cool makeover
« on: May 17, 2015, 01:11:33 PM »
I had seen this People at work in the parking lot and left a note on it saying that I could help fix it up or buy it.  The guy later responded,  we met up,  rode a bit,  and I gave him some new weights and some missing bits and pieces.
Now he's gotten into it well and did a lot of beauty work.  I think it looks great now! Might not be able to tell from the pic but he's put on semi knobby tires.  Makes it look boss!
Now if I could talk him into getting something better than that wretched crate.  But he's a traveling man and needs his crate!
And yes,  that is my Super Nine behind it.  We've commandeered that part of the motorcycle parking for scooters.

I like it.  Mine is ugly wineberry color.  I've seen a few silver ones on the web that look good to me.  I would like to have mine painted maybe yellow with red or blue wheels, or red with yellow or black wheels, probably never will, but you knows.  Cheers
1st and 2nd usually have an unfair advantage.  3rd is usually the best, can learn the most from.  paraphrased from Don Quixote, over 400 years ago, still true today

This guy did a great job and did it very inexpensive.  I was unsure when he told me about it,  but it really does look great for a backyard job

My 2007 People 2T is maroon with black plastic and chrome accents.  Its in beautiful condition. Looks almost new.  I bought it because I like the big wheels and the bike size fits my tall height. Plus Kymco builds reliable scooters and this one had only 600 miles.  Its really a pretty scooter, but I'd like it to look more tough.

Which just means I like the tough look of that black and red one.  I'm thinking about using black Plastidip to cover all my maroon.  With this idea, I might use red Plastidip for the wheels and other accents.  My mind is churning.

Anyone else here change the overall look of their Person?
