I was searching for performance variator kits,I was impressed with the reviews on the J COSTA variator kits,a little expensive 230 to 250 shipped from Italy, you can see them in YouTube j Costa,or just stick with a Dr slider or malossi haft the price, other members told me to stay away from cheap knockoff China kits???

I've wanted to check out the J Costa variator but started reading in deeper, and decided it's not worth the cost. They don't take regular rollers, they take like little pins and you have to buy them from Costa. The pins wear out twice as fast as rollers. They are a BITCH to tune right etc etc. Just get a Dr. Pulley variator for $80 and be good to go.

Good choice, the Dr. Pulley variator is designed with performance in mind, the ramps are designed to keep the bike in the powerband and "shift" when you want it with less lag. They work great!
