Riding my scooter the long way home from work today , at a major 14 lanes intersection atop a hill (not my favorite place to make a L turn) a young fellow came towards me riding a red sports bike w/sporty exhaust, twin head lights, etc - but what made me smile was that he was wearing a full face helmet, gloves and bright Hi Viz yellow armored jacket!
He also managed to give me the Biker's Wave while shifting up thru the gears (?? !) - something I could not return as I only had two hands.
Good for him! Not worried about looking cool - just liked riding on two wheels - and wanted to be around to do it again next week!
I'd like to buy him a coffee & have a chat with him about his bike and riding experiences.
