2015 aprilla sr r 50
« on: May 29, 2015, 12:21:16 PM »
A turbo direct injected liquid cooled disc brake two stroke 50cc. I would LOVE to own one of these dream machines. Anyone have the privilege of trying one out?

If its anything like the old ditech I'd throw it in a river pretty quick.

The Aprilia is the WORST scooter to work on. They drive ok, although I don't like the way the EFI feels, bad throttle response.

idk i thought the direct injection woulda helped if anything. I just think they gotta make a 150 lc 2 stroke scooter so i can peel the one off and ride it like a 50 8)
Call it the Super 10?

The EFI for 2t is more of an emissions thing rather than performance. It's really strange the way it works, the 2t is injected directly into the crank, instead of going with the fuel, so it uses far less 2t oil than a normal bike like the Kymco, hence reducing particulate emissions. Also, with EFI the mileage naturally goes up. I just don't like the way the DiTech feels, like choppy and bad throttle response.

Ya, kinda did. I was expecting it to work like a supercharged fuel injected four stroke :-\
