Electrical Issues

Hey Guys!

I got home from a long ride last night, and realized my horn wasn't working.  So I tried the old "press it a few more times to be sure" trick and all of a sudden my neutral indicator and turn signals also stopped working.

Everything else is working fine to the best of my knowledge, I'm going to take a better look tonight when I get home.

Any thoughts?  I'm leaning towards a short in a connection somewhere coupled with a blown fuse maybe?  But that doesn't seem to make much sense when consulting the wiring diagram...

Any help you could give would be awesome, thanks!

my 1st guess is to check the fuse box and work from there buddy. can also try connecting a 12v battery to the horn and see what happens.
but you are right it feels like the left handle bar wire loom is having some issues start eliminating. Good luck!
p.s wash the bike recently or rode in rain?

It was a fuse, plugged in a new one and everything came back on no problem.

Yeah it had rained a bit on my ride that evening, has something like this happened to you while riding in the rain?  Any tips on what I should watch out for?

no worries just keep a fuse or 2 in the tool bag or on the bike. the fuse still have expiration too, oxidation... but not often, water will screw up the resistant a little and blow a fuse once in a long long while, if it happens again very soon, check the wire loom. if not then... keep on riding.
