What issues to look for in People 150

Believe it or not there is a dealer near me that has a People 150. Brand new with one mile on it.
 Has been sitting in the showroom the entire time.  It is a 2009 in green and white.  Since it has been in a climate controlled building, are there any issues I need to be aware of or should this scoot be good as a new scoot on any showroom floor?
 Also, is this scooter capable of doing a gps tested 60 miles an hour or better?  I weigh about 205 lbs.  That is what I have heard.

It will do 60s! Nice find... now battery tires fluids (engine transmision brake gas) must go and you'll need a carb cleaning.
Battery should be toasted by now. Tires are old and for you safety wouldnt mind using them. And fluids its obvious.
Consider those expenses before you purchase and break the bank!7

My only concern is the fuel tank.. if it sat with low gas it might rust and held water inside.

Dont get me wrong is nice to find never ridden bikes.. but ill prefere a low pristine mile bike rather than a no mile.

The speedometer on the P150 is typically very optimistic.  I weigh 175 and my top speed on the flat is about 55 mph (actual), give or take a couple miles per hour.

I agree with Calothrix. When I had my People 150 (2010), the speedometer was about 10% optimistic. I weigh about 210, and could only get a GPS verified 59 out of mine. I also had a aftermarket exhaust system and 1 Gram (14) lighter rollers in the variator. The 150 is a great little scooter, but limited on speed. I traded mine for a GTI300 (2012) for interstate riding.
