What is everyone getting for mpgs? I did a rough calculation with estimated miles and I got between 75 and 85mpg. 70 seems possible because I drive in a mountainous area, and there's a lot of riding up hills FOT at 35mph... I know the manufacturer says the Like gets 84mpg, which seems low considering its size and weight.

In the nearly 3 years I've owned my Like I average just a tad over 80 mpg. Most of my riding is between 35 and 50 mph.

2+ yrs......getting around 77. 35-45mph on flat roads in the city.
Since I use a gas can for nearly every fill up.....hard to be more specific.
Avoiding the drama.of filling at gas stations. Just my thing...

My B&W250 with a bunch of mods, open intake and exhaust, averages about 65mpg. 70mph seems low for the like, maybe you could squeeze a little more out of it with added psi in the tires.

I've never checked the MPG on my Like 200's, but both my Grand Vista 250's get 78 mpg. I'm assuming the Likes do better than my GV's. I also fill up my Likes with gas from my gas cans. I fill my other bigger Kymco scoots at the pump. I guess it's because the Likes have smaller gas tank capacities than my bigger bikes, and I'm embarrassed to only get a gallon or so of gas to fill up the Likes. I also top off the gas in my scoots each time I finish riding them. I'm a little OCD that way.

Too easy to over-fill, I find.
I use a flashlight (promised the insurance adjuster I'd use no more kitchen matches) and sneak up on the fill mark while having coffee. Also, when I lift the seat in public - both squirrels tend to start barking...

Since I average 80 mpg I wait to fill up when I've gone at least 110 miles. At the gas station I can fill without much concern to 1.1 gallon. After that I make sure the nozzle rest on the fill neck bar and squeeze the trigger slowly checking the level often. This method gets me out of a station in about 3 minutes with a full tank and no overfill. The secret is to not fully engage the trigger. Less is best.

I'm not getting that kind of mileage. I live in Illinois where it's flat as a pancake. Maybe I'm accelerating too hard off the stop.

You guys with under seat storage, a 1gal gas can will fit nicely under there if your out riding where stations are scarce.

^^^^  I'll sometimes carry an MSR bottle. Picked mine up at an outdoor speciality store.

Getting about 59/60 mpg on my klx250s. Only thing that sucks is a 2 gal tank is all she carries.
