2 oil options
« on: July 18, 2015, 01:44:12 AM »
Hi, i can get for the same price mobil1 4t synth 15w50 or motul 5100 semi-synth 15w50.
Mobil its a group 3 hydrocracked and the motul i heard its almost a group 3 plus it has a blend with ester which might get it even better, actually using motul.
Should i switch or keep on with the motul? Opinions...

I've been using Castrol Full Synth. for a long, long time. It never mattered what viscosity or tag line they put in/on the bottle.
As long as it is NOT dollar store oil, I don't think it makes a difference. I stay away from blends tho. They all leave residue. Especially on the piston/combustion chamber.
