My 06 has 17,500 miles on it and up until this year the only things I have replaced were tires, brake pads and battery.  This year the stator went out.  Just got it back from the shop.  I must admit I don't change the oil as often as you do.

If you plan on fixing things while they happen, theoretically you could get 100k +. The highest I've seen come in our shop is about 50,000mi and at that point it was pretty rough, oil leaks etc but fixable stuff. I would rebuild the engine around 25k, rings cylinder maybe piston. These 250 engines are awesome.

2001 "Yamaha" Zuma AKA MBK Booster; MHR OverRange, Dellorto 19mm BHBG, Polini "big" intake, RS-3 Rear shock, Stock cylinder.

I bought my 2005 GV with 2600 mi on it 4 years ago.  Now I have 17,600 miles.  I forgot to change the oil and put 4000 on it but from then on I change it about ever 1300 miles.  Starts instantly, except hot requires twisting the throttle.

Repairs:
Tires, belt, brake pads, air cleaner, spark plugs, valve adjust (2x), carb clean due to previous owner letting it sit for years.  Welded the exhaust 3 or 4 times due to defective design or welds.  Optional dr pulley flat slider weights.  Painted the black plastic red to stop sun fade.  Givi windshield and top case (optional).  Repaired mirrors multiple times from falling over and replaced once with a new one.  I have seen a GV and people 250 at my local shop with 26K+ miles and a met a guy with a genuine buddy 150cc? with over 35K miles original motor!

I generally don't beat on my scooter but do run 70 to 100% on the highway to maintain 70 to 75mph.  Very happy with the scooter overall but interested in a BV350 next year for more power /speed on the highway.
