C r a z y fast
« on: August 23, 2015, 07:53:23 PM »
I know you can't read the speedometer here...but I was doing about 115mph this morning out in the sticks.
Washed the scoot yesterday - made a big difference in speed!
That's a newly installed drogue 'chute on the back there for safety.....

clean scoot...

What size tires do you have on your scooter are they the same size as the downtown  120/80  14   front and 150/70  13 rear,   and are they radial tires,. for a higher speed rating,.

Yes de dee, 120/80 M/C 58S 14 front , and 150/70 M/C 64S 13 rear.
BRIDGESTONE HOOP B03/Pro on the front, B02/Pro on the rear.
No idea if radials, or...?
My happy speed is 35 > 50mph.

Burgman looks like something the Wookies would ride in Star Wars.

No, you can clearly see in that speedo dial on the right that I'm doing 140 somethings!...plenty of room before I hit that red "blow-up"area on the dial.
Admittedly, with my new trifocals, I can't but get a general idea of what is going on down there.....the lower part of the lenses are for close reading only....or tieing a fly.
