No clue on the handle bars.  Mhr is the only one I've seen also.  4 grams may be too light with the malossi variator.  I tried 6.5 gram when I first got mine and it shot the rpms up to 10k.  Out of my tecnigas power band.  I use the ones that came with it,  9 grams.  It keeps me between 8 and 9k.
For the air box,  I just used bigger tubing.  There's pics here on the forum I think.  It acts almost like an open filter without the noise and water issues.

That's a beauty! That looks like the stock front tire, if I remember correctly.  Get some nice rubber for that,  it'll handle 100 times better.  You will need it with the parts you'll be adding.
I'm running the malossi bbk,  variator, and clutch,  a 19mm arreche carb,  lightly bored out my intake,  opened up the air box (check out the thread I made), and tecnigas pipe (bought used,  model unknown). Running the stock gears,  but I may get some malossi that I've seen.  Not sure yet how it will perform. I live in the mountains of NC.
I've been unable to properly GPS it since my final set of upgrades,  but I was following a coworker and he claims to have been doing sixty,  primarily flat surface,  wind not in my favor.  I get it going on flats and have to back off because it seems like it won't stop climbing in speed and rpms.
Someone caught up to me at a Gas Station one time,  said he was doing 55 and I was steadily pulling away.  The speedometer barely sees numbers anymore lol.
Most important mod,  tire pressure!!

It's a shame there's no front fender.  I like the look with it,  my opinion...

Question ? Are you mixing gas ? Did you put a plug in oil pump ?
And is it stock throttle cable ?

I've heard they're similar in performance,  malossi was only fifty bucks at the time so I got it.
I bet they would make bitching trail bikes with some dual sport type tires!
I am still rocking it with just the pump but have it adjusted to be a bit more open.  Most suggest running premixed after the bbk but I have had no problems.  I'm also heard its easier to tune the carb when premixed.  I'm considering switching soon myself.  Some suggest an ounce added to each fill up with the pump still operational.  I only did that during break in.  I guess it all depends on how you ride.  I usually make sure that if I'm wide open at extra high rpms that if I go to slow down I bump the throttle until the rpms drop to a safer level to keep a bit more oil coming in.

Yeah,  the stock carb is good after jetting to match the air box and pipe setup.  I ran with it for quite a while.
I'm looking forward to seeing the pics!

I ordered a water pump rebuild kit from scrappy dogs around the first of August.  Still waiting.  They have replied to an email a few weeks ago saying that they were going to get it in a week then ship.  Oh well,  I bought the last shaft in stock from a local dealer to get me by.

That would be cool of you.  There's times we're in need of things,  and I know I hate the hassle of wondering if and when I'm going to get my parts...
