I waited many months before installing the Bestem 929 case - I thought it was too big.
But because I commute in the dark 365, I wanted the extra rear lighting of the Bestem case. And I did not want to spend $400 > $750 doing it!
The lighted Givi and Shad cases are crazy expensive.
The Bestem was around $125 with the liner (amazon) , lights installed already in the case, mounting plate and hardware included.
I went from this :
To this as rear running lights:
And with the brakes applied it doubles the LEDs and adds the upper light!
Inside the case - plenty of room for my helmet and rain gear.
I posted a DIY install on the forum.
I love the lights of this case, the space is great, adding it to my LIKE was not too hard - it has been a sturdy and useful addition to my scooter for well over a year. I carry heaviest things under the seat - lighter stuff usually goes up in the case when I'm on the move. But have carried many groceries in the case if only going a couple of miles.
But mainly I purchased it for the added safety of the rear lights.
I've gotten used to its size. But if Bestem had made a smaller lighted case I would have opted for it.
I saved hundreds of $ and feel I've actually got more and better rear lighting than on the expensive Givis.
The Bestem can be mounted with disconnect plug-ins to take the case off if you want to take it into your hotel room when travelling cross country on your LIKE200i. Sure. I cancelled my trip to Peru so mine's permanently attached.
