Here's a page I was just looking at tonight! It's been foggy here for the past 3 days, and I started looking into lights. Try to stay between 3.5-and 5.0 amps. your regulator will like you better if you do. Just the drive boss should give you 7mph or so. Big difference on a small scoot.

No LED bulbs on the market are bright enough to serve as a headlight, sorry.

Lexus LS600h, Cadillac Escalade, Audi A8 + R8 etc. have LED headlight instead of xenon headlight. BMW and VW will follow soon.
But until now, xenon ist the cheapest way to get the most light out of the legal restrictions.
To avoid blinding oncoming traffic, great care must be taken esp. with motorcycles. They lean/stop/wheelie much more than cars. I know only of BMW, who could legalize their xenon. Same problem would arise with strong LED headlight.

But for the Agility (HS1 35W originally in the states too?) I would first try a simple +50% ... +100% bulb. A 55W might make difficulties might overload light machine or reflector (heat!).

We have installed HID lights in larger scoots with great results no reason they would not work in all scoots

These are on our site at scootertronics as well as many other upgrades for all Kymco scooters from NCY, Polini, Malossi, Gates and many more

The Majesty kit would be the one I suggest for all scoots, great improvment for country road ridding and fog, we have only install in Linhai 300 which is the Yamaha Majesty 250 which only sells outside US

The stock lighting on ALL these scoots is marginal at best. Adding foul weather makes it just about useless. The kits available are quite pricey so it does make a tough choice.
