Your best cleaning regimen...

Used to use chrome polish, and leather conditioner and a bit of car wax on the Harley(s)...
What do you use on your scooter (I have a People GTI).
The shocks and the lower body are getting a little dirty (do you hose yours down? or just you a wet rag to wipe?). Seat cover, conditioner on grips?

I wash it with a hp washer car shampoo and an apc to degrease the lower part.
I dry it with a soft rag and then apply liquid wax on the body.
Next week will get some paste wax but ran out like 4 months and didnt bought again till last friday... and plan to use in the future as well

Have seen pix from Philippines of LIKE 125's at the scooter wash shop looking like one giant soap bubble. Totally covered in foam, then they give it a rinse.
Too much for me.
I use sponge, bucket with bit of dish soap, long handled wash tool. Then gentle spray rinse.
Sometimes use that motorcycle spray wash (german?) on visible engine parts...with soft brush underneath to rid crud to keep engine cooler, and on rims,, not at home now, to mist it then sponge and gently rinse. Wipe dry. Wax with the excellent Honda motorcycle spray wax. Stuff lasts, keeps bugs from sticking. Beads water. Nothing on seats yet...need recommendations.

I had paint protection added when I purchased mine. Good for 10 years. So, just mild car wash and wipe dry. On seat and black plastic parts ( to avoid UV damage, even though I store it in a Gambrel Shed ) I use this:

Never saw that 303 stuff before. I do have a pressure washer that has two levels and different nozzles; may try low level with a diffuser nozzle and some mild car wash liquid (diluted) in the tank?

That was one of the nice things about Harley, they would wash and dry when services were performed (of course given their service cost you should get a hat & a sandwich too )

I never use water to clean my bikes. I use Plexus plastic cleaner on all the plastics, WD-40 and #0000 steel wool on the chrome and diluted Simple Green on everything else.

First started using 303 Protectant on Kayak Skirts and Tonneau Covers. Prevents UV breakdown of vinyl/plastics.

What do you clean with the simple green? How and where do you use the WD-40?

I spray my chrome with WD-40 and then polish it up with #0000 steel wool (extremely fine). I then wipe it clean with a clean rag. I use the Simple Green solution on the undercarriage, inside fenders, etc. and any non-shiny plastic.

Forget the Scooter! My wife took the girls Zip-lining... Dirt roads after an all morning rain. They took my new Chevy Colorado; it looks like it's been mud bogging... Three hour car wash coming up tomorrow.

I use S100 cleaner. Rinse. Dry with a Chamois. Coat and buff with ProtectAll.
